About Starkey Live Productions LLC
Our Story
We are Kelly and Joel (“Sparky”) Starkey, owners of Starkey Live Productions (SLP). Joel, also known as “Sparky” within the industry, has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in stage lighting design and audio engineering. After Joel retired from the U.S. Air Force, we chose to pursue event planning and production as a business.
SLP originated three years ago with our children's rock band. The kids wanted to perform at local community events; however, there were limited affordable production options for nonprofessional and semi-professional musicians. The COVID-19 pandemic further reduced access to cost-effective, community-run resources. In response, essential equipment was purchased and SLP LLC was established, resulting in increasing requests for support at community events. Since its founding, SLP has supported numerous community gatherings, expanded its equipment, and continued to plan for future opportunities.
EVENT PORDUCTION AND OPTIONS

$100 a day
$100 per 4'x4' section per day - 25 sections available. (stairs included)

Professional Sound Engenering
Perfect for live shows (bands/performers): On-site audio engineer. Qualified sound engineer to mix and monitor multiple microphones and/or instruments for live performances.
Premium Event/Concert Sound
Perfect for live shows (bands/performers):
Sound System(s) can support an audiance of over 5,000 people.
Premium stage lighting
Perfect for live shows (bands/performers) Controlled intelligent lighting, custom choreographed to the music.

Technician monitors microphone levels and can provide ambient background music (not DJ services).
